MRT-3 deploys 22 train sets


The Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) has set a record of operating 22 train sets in its mainline.

According to MRT-3 Director for Operations Michael Capati the number of trains dispensed last night, “ang record-breaking history sa ating pagsisimula po ng MRT-3 (is record-breaking history in the MRT-3).”

MRT-3 Dir. Capati added that the increased number of train sets were a product of the rehabilitation and good maintenance. The capacity per train set is 153. Waiting time of passengers will now be 6 to 6:30 minutes and that.

From January to March, only 4 unloading incidents were recorded by the MRT-3 compared to 2015 and 2018 with 97 to 113 unloading incidents.
