The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) on Monday, July 31, summoned producers of “It’s Showtime” over “concerning scenes” and “indecent acts.”

MTRCB issued a Notice to Appear and Testify to the noontime variety show’s producers, acting on complaints against “concerning scenes that portrayed alleged indecent acts” by hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez during “It’s Showtime’s” “Isip Bata” segment.

The segment aired last July 25 on channels GTV and A2Z DZOZ/DZOE 11.

MTRCB said the scene violated Section 3 (c) Presidential Decree No. 1986. – cf
