Amid the persistent water interruption brought about by insufficient water stock in Angat Dam, the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) strives to complete the documentary requirements on the construction of Kaliwa Dam. Maynilad Water Services, Inc., one of the concessionaires of the MWSS, plans to source water from the Laguna Lake to fulfill the needs of its customers, in the event of delay on said dam establishment. The lake is believed to have the same amount of water as that of Angat Dam.
