NAPC conducts PDM survey on SAP

The National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) is conducting a Post Distribution Monitoring Survey (PDM) that aims to get the pulse of the citizens on strides of the government in providing assistance to the vulnerable sector during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

The survey focuses on the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) especially on the method of selecting the beneficiaries and distribution of the cash aid.

The PDM Survey was started in the month of August and is meant to be finished by October. The survey will provide the data which the NAPC will present to the national government agencies to create different policies on the possible next tranches of the SAP. The data will also help determine if a recommendation to President Rodrigo R. Duterte for an institutionalized SAP is needed. – Report from Kenneth Paciente
