NCCA assures assistance to the Art Sector amid COVID-19 pandemic

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) has assured the continuous assistance to individuals in its sector affected by the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

In the Palace press briefing, NCCA Chair Nick Lizaso has stated that the department has a cash assistance program. Almost Php 69 million have been given to almost 10,000 artists and cultural workers.

Aside from the assistance, the NCCA Chair has guaranteed that their organization is constantly serving the public.

We do not stop in creating ways to give inspiration, courage, and meaning to our countrymen despite the trial we are going through right now).”
