By Myris Lee

The vaccination rate in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has improved, National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) Commissioner Jamal Munib reported Monday, May 2.

In the May 2 Laging Handa public briefing, Munib said about 90% of Muslims in Mindanao have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Munib also allayed fears of some Muslim and assured that COVID-19 vaccines are Halal.

– gb
