President Rodrigo R. Duterte announced the quarantine classification for the month of November in his talk to the nation address Tuesday morning.
The Chief Executive approved the recommendation to place Metro Manila, Batangas, Iloilo City, Bacolod City, Tacloban City, Iligan City, and Lanao Del Sur under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
However, the classification is subject to appeals by the local government units (LGUs) until October 29, 2020. – PTV News Online
