NDRRMC holds first face-to-face nationwide earthquake drill after 2 years

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) held its first face-to-face nationwide earthquake drill after two years.

The third quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill was held at the Ayala Property Management Corp. headquarters in Makati City.

Among the scenarios simulated included evacuation, fire suppression, search and rescue operations in collapsed structures, and response to mass casualty incidents.

Meanwhile, the Office of Civil Defense invited the public to join them on the fourth quarter of Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake drill on Nov. 11. – gb
