NGCP sets 10-hour power outage Oct. 24 in parts of Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO CITY– The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has set a 10-hour power interruption on Tuesday that will affect parts of Tuguegarao City and Penablanca, Cagayan.

Lilibeth P. Gaydowen, NGCP North Luzon Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Officer, said the power interruption will start at 8:00 a.m. and and end at 6:00 p.m.

Gaydowen said the areas to be affected by the power outage are those served by Cagayan Electric Cooperative 1 (CAGELCO1) feeder 1 and 2.

She said the NGCP will be conducting pole replacement and metering structure in the area.

Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion, and consumers are advised to take the necessary precautions for the scheduled power cut. (PNA)
