NHCP to unveil historical market in Kawit on June 23

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) announced Friday, June 16, it will unveil the historical market at the Dambanang Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit, Cavite on June 23.

This will coincide with the commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the Philippine Revolutionary Government.

NHCP Chairperson Emmanuel Franco Calairo will lead the unveiling.

The market states:

SAKSI ANG POOK NA ITO SA PAGKABANSA NG PILIPINAS, ANG KAUNAUNAHANG REPUBLIKA SA BUONG ASYA. ANG PANANDANG PANGKASAYSAYANG ITO AY PINASINAYAAN SA PAGGUNITA SA IKA-25 ANIBERSARYO NG KALAYAAN AT PAGKABANSANG PILIPINOS, 12 HUNYO – 23 MARSO 2026.

The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote Philippine history through its museums, research, and publications as well as to preserve historical heritage through conservation and the marking of historical sites and structures.
