9 stranded foreigners return to Europe amid COVID-19 crisis

Nine stranded foreigners in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental have returned to Europe.

The Sipalay City Tourism Development and Promotion Office has helped two Swedish nationals and seven German nationals who boarded a Cessna plane bound for Cebu International Airport in their flight home.

Many tourists have been stranded in Negros Occidental when the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon started. The majority of them have stayed in Sipalay which is known for white-sand beaches and dive sites.
