No increase in COVID-19 cases amidst eased restrictions in public transport

Malacañang is optimistic that the number of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the Philippines will not increase in spite of the eased restrictions in public transportation.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque insists that Filipinos now know the required health protocols to prevent infection as a response to the warning of the University of the Philippines – OCTA Research Group against the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the National Capital Region (NCR) once the social distancing in public transportation is reduced.

Sec. Roque pointed out that even respected doctors have confirmed that the number of cases will not increase in spite of the eased restrictions in the public transportation. – PTV News
