Nograles: Pharmally execs lawyer no longer works for Malacañang

Cabinet Sec. and acting Presidential Spokesperson Karlo Nograles on Wednesday (Nov. 17) confirmed that Atty. Daryl Ritchie Valles, the lawyer who visited two detained executives of Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp, no longer works for Malacañang.

“We have recently come across reports that say a lawyer allegedly from the Office of the Special Assistant to the President visited the Dargani siblings while under Senate detention,” Nograles said.

Nograles said that in the interest of providing the public and media with information, the government has made an effort to validate and confirm the dates of the lawyer’s employment in Malacañang.

“Based on the records of the Human Resources Management Office the lawyer was formerly under the Office of the President, and resigned on Mar. 1, 2021,” Nograles said.

“Further inquiries revealed that upon leaving the Office of the President, Atty. Valles thereafter worked in an office under the House of Representatives,” he added. – PG – bny
