MANILA — The northeast monsoon affecting Luzon will bring light rains over most parts of the island, the weather bureau said Sunday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said cloudy skies with light rains will prevail over Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Mimaropa regions, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow over extreme northern Luzon with moderate to occasionally rough seas.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
