MANILA— The northeast monsoon and the tail-end of a cold front will bring rains in some parts of the country Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical  Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 24-hour weather bulletin, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon is affecting northern Luzon. The region of Cordillera, and the provinces of Batangas, Cagayan, Babuyan, and Ilocos Norte will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

The provinces of Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will have scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms due to the tail-end of  a cold front.

Coastal waters in northern and central Luzon will be moderate to rough due to the northeast monsoon. (PNA)
