Northeast monsoon, trough of LPA to bring rains Wednesday: PAGASA

MANILA — Some parts of the country will experience rains Wednesday due to the trough of a low pressure area (LPA) affecting the eastern section of Mindanao and the northeast monsoon over northern Luzon, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 24-hour weather forecast, PAGASA said that Davao region and Soccsksargen will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers. (Lily O. Ramos/PNA)
