NYC warns youth vs NPA ruses

The National Youth Commission (NYC) warns young people against the deceptions of the New People’s Army (NPA) following the killing of 22-year-old Jevilyn Cullamat, daughter of Bayan Muna Party-list Rep. Eufemia Campos Cullamat. She was killed in a clash between the New People’s Army (NPA) and government forces in Surigao del Sur over the weekend

NYC Chairperson Ryan Enriquez stated that the Communist Party of the Philippines- New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) has been a problem of society for decades and expressed hopes that this will be resolved under the regime of President Rodrigo R. Duterte.

“Mga kabataan po, mga magulang dahil ‘yung mga anak po nila lalo na ‘yung mga kababaihan na nakukuha ng mga CPP- NPA. Si Pangulong Duterte po mahal niya ang kabataan at hindi niya pababayaan ([I’m reminding] the youth, the parents, because their children especially the women that the CPP-NPA recruits.
