The positivity rate of COVID-19 in Metro Manila has hit 50%, the OCTA Research Group said on Saturday (Jan. 8), based on the data released by the Department of Health last Thursday (Jan. 6).
In a tweet, Dr. Guido David of OCTA, said the growth in positivity rate has not yet slowed down.

“The growth in positivity rate has not yet slowed down and looks like to increase over 50% by Jan. 7. While cases continue to climb in the NCR, Calabarzon, and Central Luzon, cases are also starting to increase in many other parts of the country,” David tweeted.
