Over 300 inmates on standby for release

Over 300 inmates are set to be released by the Bureau of Corrections today. These Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) are among those released under Good Conduct Time Allowance Law and who have turned themselves back in upon the directive of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte to have their cases reviewed. Earlier, Undersecretary Markk Perete of the Department of Justice, expressed the PDLs’ request for BuCor to issue certificate assuring that they need not be arrested again.
