By Lynroe Francisco

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) expressed sympathies over the passing of former President Fidel V. Ramos on Sunday, July 31.

“The OVP honors his legacy of leadership and joins his family, friends, and the Filipino people in prayer in this period of grief and bereavement,” Atty. Reynold S. Munsayac, spokesperson of Vice President Sara Duterte, said in a statement.

“He will forever inspire us to value patriotism and will remind us that the confluence of peace and economic reforms is the key to a stronger nation,” the OVP added.

The OVP said its flag “shall exhibit the symbol of mourning until his burial.”  –ag
