Based on the report, the abandoned vehicle with plate number CDI 9724 was noticed by Mark Joseph Espinosa, a barangay tanod, at around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

He requested assistance from Parañaque City Police Tambo Substation to inspect the said vehicle around 2:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Upon initial inspection, police authorities noticed one brown backpack at the passenger seat, one box, and one sack with unknown content.

“Upon initial inspection, the police officers noted that all doors are closed but [unlocked], all outside features of the said vehicle were intact, all the windows and windshield are semi tainted but still visible inside and no sign of contraband was seen inside the vehicle,” it stated.

Further investigation found that the contents of the vehicle were 27 vacuum-sealed tea packs allegedly containing shabu, a white sack, plastic, box and two photocopies of vehicle documents, money, identification cards, among others.
