P3.4M worth of shabu seized in Taguig buy-bust ops

Around five hundred (500) grams of suspected methamphetamine hydro chloride commonly known as shabu were confiscated from a drug personality by anti-narcotics operatives of PDEA in a buy-bust operation conducted at Taguig City on Thursday afternoon (October 25, 2019).

The arrested suspect was identified as Arshamir Ado y Manambanid, male, 26 years old, resident of Basilan Street, Brgy. Maharlika, Taguig City according to Director Joel B Plaza, Regional Director of PDEA RO-NCR.

Joint operatives of PDEA RO-NCR: QC District Office (QCDO), Southern District Office (SDO), Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) in coordination with SDEU Taguig CPS conducted the buy-bust operation at around 1330H, in the residence of the arrested drug suspect after transacting with an undercover PDEA Agent.

Confiscated and seized from the suspect were ten (10) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weighing more or less 500 grams with a standard drug price of Php 3,400,000.00, one (1) unit Nokia analog cellular phone and the buy-bust money.

Criminal charge for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) of Article II of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for filing against the arrested suspect.
