P4-M ‘shabu’ seized in Bulacan town

CAMP ALEJO S. SANTOS, Bulacan – Operatives of Bulacan police and Northern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit on Friday conducted two buy-bust operations in Pandi town, this province resulting in the confiscation of more than PHP4 million worth of suspected “shabu”.

Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, acting Bulacan police director, said four drug suspects were arrested in the two police operations in Pandi Heights, Barangay Cacarong Matanda, Pandi town.

He said the first buy-bust operation at Lot 26, Block 16, Pandi Heights led to the arrest of Arjay Samporna and Reuben Bisonaya around 8:30 a.m. Friday.

He said recovered from the two drug suspects were two plastic sachets of suspected shabu, each weighing more or less 100 grams with an estimated street value of PHP680,000.

Bersaluna said the second buy-bust operation was conducted around 9:30 a.m. at Lot 24, Block 35 of the same subdivision that resulted in the arrest of Johari Mauna and Patang Mauna.

Confiscated from the two suspects were five plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 500 grams of suspected sahbu with a street value of PHP3.4 million.

“A total of 600 grams of shabu with a street value of PHP4,080,000. were confiscated from the four suspects that were all brought to the Northern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit for proper disposition,” Bersaluna said. (Manny Balbin/PNA)
