PA to build ‘counter-terror training complex’ in Nueva Ecija

MANILA — With the military taking a tougher stance against terror threats, the Philippine Army (PA) announced that it is allocating PHP55.6 million for the construction of a “counter-terrorism training complex” at Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.

Winning bidders are required to complete the facility within 180 calendar days, PA Special Bids and Awards Committee-3 chair Major Gen. Joselito M. Reyes said in a bid bulletin posted on the Army website.

Bid opening is slated Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. at the headquarters of the Special Operations Command, Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.

Interested bidders must also have completed a similar project similar to the one being bidded. (PNA)
