No more tropical cyclones are expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) for the rest of the month, the state weather bureau said Wednesday, June 28.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) Weather Specialist Obet Badrina, there are no low pressure areas nor tropical cyclones being monitored outside PAR.

“Wala pa tayong minomonitor din na anumang low pressure area o bagyo sa labas ng Philippine area of responsibility, kaya posible na ngayong Hunyo ay wala na tayong inaasahang bagyo na papasok o mabubuo sa loob ng Philippine area of responsibility,” Badrina said.

Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon (habagat) will affect Southern Luzon and Visayas on Wednesday.

Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Zambales, and Bataan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to habagat.

The habagat/localized thunderstorms will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
