PAL announces flights to be affected by Cebu airport runway’s repair

MANILA — Some flights of the Philippine Airlines from and to Cebu will either be delayed or cancelled from Sept. 1 to 21, the flag carrier announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) spokesperson Eric Apolonio told the Philippine News Agency (PNA) that CAAP has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) dated Aug. 21 to Sept. 20 regarding runway 04/22’s closure.

“Closure will only be from 1:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. to give way for repair, overlay of asphalt,” he said.
