MANILA — Malacañang on Monday lauded the taekwondo jins for winning the country’s first two medals in the ongoing 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games in Indonesia.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque congratulated Dustin Jacob Mella, Jeordan Dominguez and Rodolfo Reyes Jr. for winning bronze medal in the men’s poomsae event on Sunday.

Roque also commended the women’s poomsea team composed of Juvenile Fay Crisostomo, Rinna Babanto and Janna Dominique for also bringing home bronze medal on the same day.

“We wish the rest of the Team Philippines the best of luck. Laban Pilipinas! (Fight Philippines),” Roque said in a Palace press briefing.
