Honest and competent. These are the qualifications that President Duterte has laid down for the new Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) director general. Former Bucor Chief Nicanor Faeldon has yet to be replaced but Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo underscored the Chief Executive’s requirements in the fulfillment of the duties of the position.
