Palace reminds about health protocols in flea markets, bazaars during the holidays

Malacañang has warned to close flea markets and bazaars that will fail to comply with the minimum health and safety standards.

“Iri-remind ko lang po ang mga tiangge operators, pwede po kayong maipasara kapag hindi po ninyo in-observe ang social distancing (I’ll just remind flea market operators that you can be shut down if you don’t observe social distancing.)”

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque reiterated that only a limited number of persons are allowed to enter a store and that there should be separate entry and exit points for the shoppers. He also urged the local government units (LGUs) to monitor flea markets in their areas to prevent the further spread of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). – PTV News
