Ahead of the Labor Day celebration on May 1, the Office of the President and Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM) are set to hold the “Konsyerto sa Palasyo: Para sa Ating mga OFWs” this Sunday, April 27.

This event is a symphonic tribute in honor of their sacrifices, hard work, and excellence, with them being dubbed as the “new heroes” of the Pearl of the Orient Seas.

The families of OFWs based in the Philippines will take part in the musical celebration, which will also be streamed online so that OFWs from other parts of the world can also witness the concert.

Likewise, officials from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Tourism (DOT), and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will be in attendance at the Palace concert.

This KSP will feature homegrown Filipino artists from all over the country such as Rap Cañedo from Davao de Oro, Marielle Montellano from Cebu, Chito Ricafrente from Quezon Province, and Winchester Lopez from La Union.

Exemplary Filipino musicians will also be part of the KSP Band and Primedance Manila will also perform to pay tribute to our modern heroes.

The concert will be available to the public via livestream on the official Facebook pages of Konsyerto sa Palasyo, Radio Television Malacañang, Presidential Communications Office, and the DMW.
