Pampanga almost free of COVID-19, nears herd immunity

By Pearl Gumapos

The province of Pampanga has only a few active COVID-19 cases left, Pampanga Provincial Health Officer Dr. Zenon Ponce said on Thursday (Dec. 9).

Dr. Ponce said the Provincial Health office will tighten the monitoring of inoculation in vaccination sites in order to avoid vaccine spoilage.

He also said fully-vaccinated individuals should still observe minimum health protocols.

“By next year, almost 100% ang fully-vaccinated na kasi nagha-house-to-house na po ngayon.” -rir
