Panelo to sue Inquirer, Rappler over Sanchez issue

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo is set to file a libel case against Inquirer.net and Rappler due to their alleged malicious report that he endorsed ex-Calauan Mayor Antonio Sanchez for an executive clemency to the Board of Pardons and Parole. Panelo explained that the Sanchez family is but one among many who sought for executive clemency through his office for endorsement.
