In its latest advisory, PAGASA said typhoon “Paolo” was last observed 870 kilometers east of Tuguegaro City, Cagayan with maximum winds of 130 km/h near the center Friday morning. It is forecast to move north at 15 km/h.

Also, a low pressure area (LPA) was spotted at 135 km west of Coron, Palawan. Both weather disturbances will bring scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms in the Visayas, the regions of Bicol, Mimaropa, Caraga, and Zamboanga peninsula.
