‘Parang attendance lang’: UP posts 100% passing rate in food tech board exam

“Parang attendance lang,” netizens quipped after the result of the August 2023 Food Technologists Licensure Exam went viral online.

University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman posted a 100% passing rate, after all 75 of its takers passed the board exam.

Meanwhile, UP Los Baños (UPLB) posted 92.86 and UP Mindanao, 83.33%.

Twenty-two passers in the Top 10 were from UP Diliman, 13 from UPLB, one from UP Mindanao, and one from UP Visayas-Iloilo City.

The board exam was conducted on Aug. 10 to 11 at testing centers in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, and Zamboanga. – cf
