Park n’ Vac sa Laguna, ikinatuwa ng mga senior citizens

Inilunsad ng Sta. Rosa Community Hospital sa Laguna ang programang “Park n’ Vac” o drive-thru vaccination para sa mga senior citizens at persons with comorbidity.

Sa paraang ito, mapapabilis ang pagbabakuna nang hindi kinakailangang pumunta at pumila sa mga vaccination site.

Saad ni Sta. Rosa, Laguna City Health Officer Dr. Soledad Cunanan, “’Yung mga may comorbidity na hindi kayang pumunta sa vaccination center… pumupunta na lang ‘yung vaccinator sa kanilang sasakyan para mas ma-accommodate natin lahat halos ng pumupunta doon.”

Sa loob mismo ng sasakyan tinitingnan ang mga requirement at vital signs ng mga naturang residente at doon na rin sila binabakunahan.

Labis namang ikinatuwa ng mga senior citizen ang programang ito dahil ayon sa kanila, hindi na nila kinakailangan pang tumayo at pumila upang mabakunahan.

Ayon kay Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez, naitala ang Laguna na may pinakamataas na vaccination utilization rate sa Rehiyon IV-A. – Ulat ni Louisa Erispe / CF-jlo
