Parts of NCR, nearby provinces to experience power interruptions on June 18-20

Several parts of Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, and Bulacan will experience power interruptions from June 18 to 20 due to scheduled maintenance and infrastructure activities.

In an advisory, power distributor Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced the following outages as it conducts improvement work in its facilities:

June 18-19, 2024

Tanay, Rizal

Affected between 11:00 p.m. (Tuesday, June 18) and 4:00 a.m. (Wednesday, June 19) due to the relocation of facilities affected by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) project along Plaza Rizal Street in Barangay Plaza Aldea:

  • Portion of F. Catapusan and M. H. Del Pilar Streets from McDonald’s to and including Catambay, A. Dancel, I. Yujuico, P. Gomez, Tentado, Rajah Sol, and P. Peñaranda Streets; San Ildefonso College, Tanay Water District, and Mercury Drug in Brgys. Plaza Aldea, Wawa, Mag-ampon, and San Isidro.
  • Portion of Wawa Road and Lakeshore Drive from M.H. Del Pilar Street in Barangay Wawa to and including M.L. Quezon, Cong. Ding Tanjuatco, Damaso Reyes, Cecilio Santos, Dolores, Resurrection, Noli Me Tangere, Pastor Masilang, E. Quirino, Lapu Lapu and Lorenzo Ramos Streets in Brgys. Wawa, Kaybuto, Tabing Ilog, and Pinagkamaligan.

Barangays Paso de Blas and Bagbaguin, Valenzuela City

Affected between 11:00 p.m. (Tuesday, June 18) and 4:00 a.m. (Wednesday, June 19) due to line repair works along North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) East Service Road near Paso de Blas Road:

  • Portion of Paso de Blas and Bagbaguin Roads from North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) East Service Road to near G. Molina Street, including Dela Cruz Compound.

Barangays Alabang, Bayanan, and Putatan, Muntinlupa City

Affected between 11:00 p.m. (Tuesday, June 18) and 4:00 a.m. (Wednesday, June 19) due to line reconstruction works, replacement of poles, and installation of facilities along Manila South Road (Muntinlupa–San Pedro National Highway) in Barangay Alabang:

  • Portion of Ilaya Street from San Guillermo Street, including L&B Compound and Purok 7C in Barangay Alabang.
  • Portion of Bautista Street from Pleasant Drive to and including Baywalk Street; and Puregold–Bayanan Minimart in Barangay Bayanan.
  • Portion of San Guillermo Street from Ilaya Street to and including Valeda Street; Lakeview Homes, Sunrise Subdivision and Bagong Paraiso Compound in Barangays Bayanan and Putatan.
  • Portion of PNR Road from Bautista Street to NIA Road in Barangays Bayanan and Putatan.

Pandacan, Manila

Affected between 11:00 p.m. (Tuesday, June 18) and 4:00 a.m. (Wednesday, June 19) due to line reconstruction works along Beata near Sto. Niño Street:

  • Portion of Lorenzo Dela Paz Street from Beata Street to Jesus Ext. Street including Certeza Street.

Barangay Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City

Affected between 9:00 a.m. and 9:05 a.m. and then between 1:55 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. due to line maintenance works inside Fort Bonifacio Global City:

  • Icon Plaza, Seibu Tower, RCBC – A.T. Yuchengco Centre, Sun Life Centre, Fort Victoria, Philippine Realty Holdings Corp., and Singapore Embassy in Fort Bonifacio Global City.

City of Biñan, Laguna 

Affected between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. due to energization of facilities and line reconstruction works in Barangay San Francisco:

  • Portion of South Road from Road 18 to East Road in San Agustin Village (Meriño Subdivision), Barangay San Francisco.
  • Portion of Job Street from West Road to Exchange Boulevard in Juana Complex Subdivision Phase 6, Bgy. San Francisco.
  • Portion of Genesis Avenue from Matthew Street to Samuel Street in Juana Complex Subdivision Phase 6, Barangay San Francisco.

June 19-20, 2024

Kamuning, Quezon City

Affected between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. (Wednesday, June 19) and then between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. (Thursday, June 20) due to relocation of facilities along Quezon Avenue in Barangay Paligsahan:

  • Portion of Panay Avenue from Scout Reyes Street to Timog Avenue in Barangay South Triangle.
  • Portion of Scout Reyes Street from near Quezon Avenue to and including Scout De Guia and Scout Fuentebella Streets in Barangays Laging Handa and Paligsahan.
  • Portion of Mother Ignacia Avenue from Scout Reyes Street to near Scout Limbaga Street in Barangays Laging Handa and Paligsahan.
  • Portion of Quezon Avenue from Timog Avenue to near Scout Borromeo Street in Barangays South Triangle and West Triangle.

Affected between 11:00 p.m. (Wednesday, June 19) and 5:00 a.m. (Thursday, June 20):

  • Portion of Quezon Avenue from Lifeline Diagnostics Supplies Inc. to Timog Avenue, including Scout Reyes Street in Barangays Laging Handa, Paligsahan, and South Triangle.

June 20, 2024

Marilao, Bulacan

Affected between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. due to the replacement of poles, line reconductoring works, and installation of new poles in Heritage Homes, Barangay Loma De Gato:

  • Along Sunflower Street from Heritage Homes Main Road to and including Metro Gate Meycauayan 2–3, 2–4, and 2–4A, Metro Gate Subdivision Phases 1 and 2 as well as Heritage Homes Phases 5, 6, and  9 in Barangay Loma De Gato.

Meycauayan, Bulacan

Affected between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. due to the installation of pole and line reconstruction works along Dinar Street in Saint Michael Homes Subdivision Phase 2, Barangay Pandayan:

  • Portion of Dinar Street from Dollar Street to and including Halasan Road in Palanas Area Compound; Fundador, Johnny Walker, and Cognac Streets in Saint Michael Homes Subdivision Phase 2, Barangay Pandayan.
  • Portion of Gladiola Street from Dinar Street to Sampaguita Street including Orchid Street in Saint Michael Homes Subdivision Phase 2, Barangay Pandayan.

Bocaue, Bulacan

Affected between 12:01 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. due to the replacement of a leaning pole along B. Bernardo Street in Barangay Turo:

  • Portion of B. Bernardo Street from near Gov. Fortunato Halili Avenue to and including Okachi Neon Mfg. Corp., Kooperatibang Masa, Wilbond Chemicals Inc., ASA Color & Chemical Industries Inc., ASA Color Trading Corp., F16 Construction Corp.; and Mauricio Street in Barangays Bolacan and Turo.
