Passenger reportedly jumps off MRT-3 station

A passenger jumped onto the tracks of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT)-3 Quezon Avenue Station, causing the rail system to temporarily halt operations.

The unidentified passenger allegedly jumped onto the southbound tracks at MRT-3 Quezon Avenue Station.

According to the MRT management, the passenger has been rescued and brought to East Avenue Medical Center.

The passenger was found alive and breathing.

Meanwhile, Northbound and southbound services from MRT-3 Taft Avenue Station to MRT-3 North Avenue Station have resumed as of 1:20 pm. -ag
