Paul Soriano named presidential adviser for creative communications

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. appointed film director Paul Soriano as Presidential Adviser for Creative Communications, Malacañang confirmed on Monday, Oct. 17.

Soriano is expected to take his oath of office presided by Marcos.

He first confirmed to the media that there was an offer to him to be the next press secretary, however, he refused to accept it.

“Yes there was a conversation, but I feel that position needs more to help the President,” Soriano said.

“I can be of better service behind the scenes working with the President’s media and communications team,” he added.
