PCSO reverts Lotto ticket price back to Php 20

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) will revert the Lotto ticket price from Php24 to Php20 effective on the resumption of its operation.

The agency increased the price of the ticket in 2018 under the TRAIN Law. However, the operation of the gaming industry has been suspended since March due to the implementation of the community quarantine because of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

According to the PCSO, they have appealed to the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to allow them to resume their gaming operation.
