PCSO says nothing unusual in recent Grand Lotto draw

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said Tuesday, Oct. 4, that there was nothing unusual in its recent Grand Lotto draw.

In the Laging Handa briefing, PCSO General Manager Mel Robles reiterated that there was no human intervention during the recent draw of Grand Lotto 6/55 where 433 bettors guessed the correct number combination.

Robles said that it is normal for bettors to win the jackpot prize because they tend to “take care” of their numbers.

“This is a game of chance… Wala ho talagang pattern ito, walang science, walang logic, so kung ano man ang lumabas na makita ninyong numero, that’s it,” he added.

Robles said that they welcome the Senate probe and vowed to coordinate with lawmakers.

“Okay lang po yan para malaman ng tao kung ano talaga ang nangyari at mapanatag ang kalooban nila. Tiwala naman po kami na ang katotohanan naman po ay lalabas diyan at makikita ng tao na wala hong makikitang pagkakamali sa proseso ng resulta,” he added.

Meanwhile, Robles said 103 out of 433 winning bettors already redeemed their prizes.
