PDEA Welcomes its 7th Director General

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency welcomes its seventh Director General, Wilkins M Villanueva.

Villanueva has competently served our country for almost two (2) decades in the field of DRUG LAW ENFORCEMENT through different capacities and positions, both with the PNP Narcotics Group and as one of the pioneering officers of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

In his social media post, DG Villanueva expressed his utmost gratitude to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte for giving his trust and confidence to lead our country’s WAR ON DRUGS, saying “I will never fail you MR. PRESIDENT!”

He also expressed his thanks to Senators Bong Go and Ronald dela Rosa for their encouragement and support.

As a strong statement on his impending assumption to office, DG Villanueva emphatically stated that “THE WAR ON DRUGS CONTINUES!” (PDEA Press Release)
