National women’s boxing team member Nesthy Petecio is already assured of a bronze medal in the 2019 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships after dominating Japan’s Sena Irie, 4-1, in the quarterfinals of the 57-kilogram division. Petecio is to square off with England’s Kariss Artingstall on Saturday for a berth in finals.
