Petroleum price hike eyed this week

The price of petroleum products is expected to increase within the week.

Based on the forecast of Unioil, the price for each liter of diesel will rise by ₱1.20 to ₱1.30, while the price of gasoline will grow by 70 to 80 centavos. The most recent hike in gasoline prices was on February 9.

Latest data from the Department of Energy (DOE) show that a liter of gasoline costs ₱38.60 to ₱54.97 while diesel is between ₱30.80 to ₱38.37. – PTV News
