PH administers 40 million jabs

The Philippines has administered a total of 40,030,388 doses of COVID-19 vaccines as of Wednesday (Sept 15), Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said during a Malacañang public briefing.

The country has reached a daily jab rate of 500,315.

22,354,429 or 28.98% have received their first dose, and 17,675,959 or 22.01% are fully vaccinated.

Meanwhile, in the National Capital Region (NCR), 14,672,783 doses have been administered.

NCR has a daily jab rate of 104,729.

Some 8.4 million or 86.83% of the population in NCR have received their first dose, while 6.1 million or 63.26% are fully vaccinated.

As of Sept. 15, the country has 170,446 active cases of COVID-19.

There are 2,032,471 recoveries, and 35,742 deaths. -rir
