PH ‘crimeless’ during Pacquiao-Matthysse fight

MANILA — Police authorities recorded a generally peaceful weekend across the country during the bout between Senator Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Argentine boxer Lucas Matthysse.

Speaking to newsmen, Philippine National Police chief Director General Oscar D. Albayalde said they only noted a lone incident in the National Capital Region (NCR), when an unidentified man fainted.

The PNP chief said there was also a lone shooting incident reported by the Police Regional Office-ARMM.
