PH debt now at P13.86T

The national government’s total outstanding debt is now at P13.86 trillion as of end-March, according to the Bureau of Treasury (BTr).

Based on the latest data from BTr, the Philippine debt grew by over P104 billion in March.

A big chunk of the total debt stock was domestic borrowings which rose by P71 billion to P9.1 trillion.

Meanwhile, external debt during the month of March also went up by P33.15 billion to P4.34 trillion. GB/PTV News-ag
