PH oil firms raise pump prices Tuesday

MANILA — Another rise in pump prices will take effect on Tuesday, March 6. at 6 a.m., local oil firms announced on Monday.

They said the adjustment reflects the movement of prices in the international petroleum market.

Jetti, TOTAL, Phoenix, and PTT Philippines will increase prices of diesel by PHP0.30/liter and gasoline by PHP0.50/liter.

Unioil will also implement a price hike of PHP0.30/liter for Euro 5 diesel, and PHP0.50/liter for Euro 5 gasoline 91, 95, and 97.

Eastern Petroleum will raise prices of diesel by PHP0.30/liter, and unleaded and premium gasoline by PHP0.50/liter.

SEAOIL and Shell have announced a price hike of PHP0.50/liter for gasoline, PHP0.30/liter for diesel, and PHP0.80 for kerosene.

Likewise, Caltex will implement increases in its platinum and silver pump prices by PHP0.50/liter, diesel by PHP0.30/liter, and kerosene by PHP0.80/liter.

Meanwhile, Petron will have its price hike effective 6:01 a.m. on Tuesday: PHP0.50/liter for gasoline, PHP0.30/liter for diesel, and PHP0.80/liter for kerosene. (Ma. Cristina Arayata/PNA)
