The Philippine Sambo team is set to have its Southeast Asian Games debut in the Philippines. National standout Sydney Tancontian and Patrick Manicad are both ecstatic for the upcoming biennial games and promised that the team will bag a gold medal. Aside from the SEA Games, Tancontian is also preparing for the upcoming World Sambo Championships on October.
