PH to remain at Alert Level 2 until January 2022

There is a high probability that the country will remain at Alert Level 2 until January next year amid the partial increase in COVID-19 cases.

This was reported by National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF) chief implementer and vaccine czar Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr. after his emergency meeting with several local government units (LGUs) on Tuesday, Dec. 28.

According to Galvez, although the COVID-19 situation in the country is stable, LGUs have still been alerted to the rise of new infections.

Galvez also said they are monitoring the situation. He also warned the regional Inter-Agency Task Force and local governments, particularly the National Capital Region about the rise of COVID-19 cases. -Report from Alvin Barcelona/PG – bny
