A memorandum of understanding has been inked by Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. and United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to end human trafficking through mutually-forged measures. The understanding also contemplates the strengthening of ties between the two countries. To date, around 600,000 Filipinos work in UAE.
